Convert PDF to Word – and keep working
Sometimes you need the content of a PDF as an editable document. CtdPDF exports PDFs to Word (DOCX), Excel (XLSX) and PowerPoint (PPTX) as well as plain text and HTML, keeping paragraphs, fonts and images as faithfully as possible.
How it works
- Open the PDF and click Export.
- Choose the format: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, text or HTML.
- Pick a location – done. The file opens in any common office suite.
Which format for what?
| Format | Best for |
|---|---|
| Word (DOCX) | Editing contracts, letters, reports |
| Excel (XLSX) | Re-using tables and lists |
| PowerPoint (PPTX) | Turning PDF slides back into a presentation |
| Text / HTML | Content for other programs or the web |
Scanned documents?
Run text recognition (OCR) first – afterwards their text can be exported too.
